A Kent State University student faces rape charges for alleged sexual activity with two 14 year old girls.
The Portage County Sheriff's Office says 19 year-old Benjamin Schwartz was "chaperoning" a slumber party at his Franklin Township home.
They allege that Schwartz had sexual activity with the two girls at the home, over the afternoon and early morning hours of February 16th and 17th.
Schwartz faces first degree felony rape charges, and felony importuning charges.
He's being held at the Portage County Jail on no bond, and faces arraignment Monday afternoon.
The Portage County Grand Jury will get the investigation and could add more charges against Schwartz.
A Medina man is now facing rape charges in the alleged sexual assault of a teenage girl.
Nicholas Franick has been indicted on multiple counts of rape and gross sexual imposition for allegedly molesting a now 14-year-old girl over a period of several years.
The Beacon reports the 38-year-old Franick was being held in the Medina County Jail under a $250,000 bond since his arrest in March.
Three of the charges allege Franick assaulted the girl when she was under 13, which could result in a possible life sentence.
Medina and Wadsworth police began investigating after the girl told her mother about the alleged abuse, who later called police.
