Williams was ‘on the bag’ today for Adam Scott as he won the World Golf Championships – Bridgestone Invitational on the South Course of Firestone. Williams carried the bag for Tiger Woods when he won seven times at Firestone for the Bridgestone Invitational.
Williams called the victory ‘the sweetest of his career.’ That’s quite a statement considering how many important tournaments Tiger Woods and Steve Williams had won together.
This was only the fourth tournament that Steve Williams has carried the clubs for Adam Scott. By far, it was the most successful.
Williams and Scott now head to Atlanta PGA .
Williams added he hopes to get Adam Scott a major victory before he carries his last golf bag in his career.
