  CANTON, Ohio – The expression that baseball is a game of inches is a cliché that’s as old as America’s favorite pastime itself, but a phrase doesn’t last that long without some truth behind it. The Hudson Explorers found that out the hard way in a 2-1 regional semifinal loss to the Massillon Perry Panthers in the Canton Division I Regional at Thurman Munson Stadium on Thursday. “When you get this far, we’re one game away from going to Columbus.   We’re disappointed,” Explorers coach Chuck Schilling said following the loss.
