AKRON, Ohio – Walsh Jesuit’s softball team saw seven of its nine starters get hits and had its pitcher throw five effective innings, but still lost a heartbreaker 3-2 to Massillon Perry at the Ohio Invitational. That the 2010 Division I state champions knocked off the Warriors (9-3) on Sunday wasn’t disheartening to Walsh coach Bill Davis. It was the way the Panthers (7-4) beat his squad that bugged him. “It’s tough to see because it’s something we’ve been doing every day,” Davis said. Copyright 2012 SportsInk. All rights reserved.
