Clive Rose/Getty Images(LONDON) -- Two-time Wimbledon champion Rafael Nadal has been ousted from the second round at the All-England club by Lukas Rosol, 6-7 (9), 6-4, 2-6, 6-4. It’s his earliest Grand Slam exit since 2005.

The 26-year-old Nadal found himself on the defense for most of the match, as the 100th-ranked Rosol was aggressively hitting his groundstrokes.

With the victory, Rosol becomes the lowest-ranked player to defeat Nadal in a major tournament.
