Webb Simpson Wins 2012 U.S. Open Stuart Franklin/Getty Images(SAN FRANCISCO) -- Webb Simpson has won the 2012 U.S. Open, defeating Graeme McDowell.

McDowell had a chance to tie Simpson at the 72nd hole but missed a birdie to give Simpson the 112th U.S. Open at The Olympic Club.
