San Antonio Spurs/NBA(NEW YORK) -- San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker had his retina scratched during a brawl in a New York City nightclub involving singer Chris Brown and members of hip-hop star Drake's entourage.

Parker is expected to miss a week of his Summer Olympic training with the French national team.

Parker is currently in Paris. He said he is wearing a "therapeutic" contact lens and had to go the emergency room once he arrived in Paris.

"I was with my friend Chris Brown and me and my friends took some punches," Parker said during a news conference that was posted on You Tube. "I'll be missing the start of the French team because I can't do anything for a week except keep the lens in and then take drops."

The incident occurred at W.i.P in SoHo.
