Jerry Jones Feels the Window is Closing on Cowboys Jim McIsaac/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- For years now, the pressure has been on the Dallas Cowboys and owner Jerry Jones to return to their Super Bowl glory days. Jones is feeling a sense of urgency when it comes to his current team.

"Well, my window is getting shorter. Time goes by," Jones recently told the NFL Network. "I do feel real pressure because we do have players not only in (quarterback) Tony Romo, but (tight end) Jason Witten (and outside linebacker) DeMarcus Ware, to leave out several that are (also) in the prime of their career. And we need to strike and strike soon with those guys."

Jones has won three Super Bowls since becoming the owner of the team, but they all came in the 1990's. They only have one playoff win over the last 15 years despite haivng talented rosters during those years.

This past season, the Cowboys went 8-8, just missing out on the playoffs and an NFC East division title. To improve the team, the Cowboys have made such moves as signing cornerback Brandon Carr as well as trading up in the NFL Draft to select former LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne.
