The Cleveland Indians (18-13) defeated the Boston Red Sox (12-19), 8-3.

The Washington Nationals (19-12) doubled up the Pittsburgh Pirates (14-17), 4-2.

The Baltimore Orioles (20-12) flew past the Texas Rangers (21-11) in Game One, 6-5.

The Orioles and Rangers spilt a doubleheader with Baltimore (20-12) taking Game One, 6-5, and the Rangers (21-12) winning Game Two, 7-3.
