MLB Suspends Giants Pitcher Guillermo Mota For 100 Games Ron Vesely/MLB Photos via Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Major League Baseball suspended San Francisco Giants relief pitcher Guillermo Mota for 100 games Monday for testing positive for clenbuterol, an illegal performance-enhancing drug.

This is Mota’s second suspension for violating baseball’s drug policy. He was suspended for 50 games in November 2006.

The 38-year-old right-hander is currently in his 14th year in the big leagues. He is 0-1 on the season with a 5.06 ERA.
