The Cleveland Indians (2-4) popped the Kansas City Royals (3-4), 8-3.

NL: The Chicago Cubs (3-5) rocked the St. Louis Cardinals (5-3), 9-5.

The San Francisco Giants (3-4) blanked the Pittsburgh Pirates (2-5), 5-0.

NBA: The Atlanta Hawks (35-24) downed the Orlando Magic (34-25), 109-81.

The Indiana Pacers (37-22) took care of the Cleveland Cavaliers (19-38), 102-38.

The New Jersey Nets (22-38) edged the Philadelphia 76ers (31-28), 95-89.
