BananaStock/ThinkStock(COLUMBUS, Ind.) -- Former Notre Dame quarterback and punter Blair Kiel died on Sunday. He was 50 years old.
Kiel, the uncle of current Fighting Irish quarterback Gunner Kiel, played seven seasons in the NFL for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Indianapolis Colts, and Green Bay Packers.
Kiel played for Notre Dame from 1980-83. He was drafted by the Bucs in the 11th round of the 1984 NFL Draft.
