Jonathan Ferrey/Getty Images for NASCAR(FONTANA, Calif.) -- NASCAR Nationwide driver Joey Logano took home the checkered flag in Saturday’s running of the Royal Purple 300 at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.

Logano started the race on the pole. He took the lead for good with 12 laps to go on the final restart. It's Joe Gibbs Racing’s eighth consecutive win at the Speedway.

For the 21-year-old Logano, it’s his tenth career victory on NASCAR’s junior circuit.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. finished in second followed by Brad Keselowski, Brian Scott and Austin Dillion to round out the top five.
