The Chicago Blackhawks (17-8-4) outlasted the New York Islanders (9-11-6) in overtime, 3-2.

The Florida Panthers (16-8-4) tamed the Boston Bruins (17-9-1), 2-0.

The Vancouver Canucks (17-10-1) topped the Montreal Canadiens (11-11-7) in a shootout, 4-3.

The St. Louis Blues (16-9-3) were 4-2 winners over the Anaheim Ducks (8-15-5).

The Nashville Predators (13-11-4) one upped the Columbus Blue Jackets (8-16-4) in overtime, 4-3.

The New Jersey Devils (14-12-1) defeated the Ottawa Senators (13-12-4) in a shootout, 5-4.

The Detroit Red Wings (17-9-1) skated past the Phoenix Coyotes (15-10-3), 5-2.
