Buehrle Signs With Miami Marlins: Report BananaStock/Thinkstock(DALLAS) -- The Miami Marlins continued their free agent shopping spree Wednesday, signing four-time All-Star pitcher Mark Buehrle to a four-year deal worth $58 million, according to ESPN.

The 32-year-old Buehrle comes over from the Chicago White Sox, where he has won 10 games or more in each of the last 11 seasons. He will reunite with former White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen, now the new skipper of the Marlins.

“When I talked to them about my contract, they were saying, we are going to build a great ballclub,” Guillen said. “Lot of people, when we come to the (baseball’s winter) meeting, they thought it was kind of fake. Now they show people it’s for real and I’m very excited.”

Buehrle becomes the third marquee free agent to sign with the Marlins this offseason, joining shortstop Jose Reyes and closer Heath Bell.
