AUDIO Walsh Jesuit VB Marches On

It took five sets, but the Walsh Jesuit Warriors Volleyball team won their regional semi-final match in Division II against Salem last night at Stow High School.

The Warriors will face Mentor Lake Catholic Saturday afternoon for a Trip to the Final Four.

The Walsh-Salem scores last night were (16-25, 25-12, 25-21, 14-25 and 15-10).

Salem was with the 6th rated team in the state of Ohio in Division II.

Lake Catholic advanced to the 2 pm Saturday at Stow High School final by beating Buckeye Local (25-19, 25-14, 25-14).

The Warriors (17-10) relied on their four seniors, Allison Foschia, Jacqui Endre, Bridget Gilligan and Katie Meyer to help win the fifth and deciding set.

Foschia says the Warriors were focused on winning the fifth and deciding set.
