Cavs Meet Wizards Tonight
 11/3/2009 8:31:36 AM  |  Joe Jastrzemski, AkronNewsNow.com

The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Washington Wizards meet tonight at Quicken Loans Arena to renew what some feel is a budding rivalry.

The Cavs and the Wizards met three consecutive times in the NBA Playoffs (2006, 2007 and 2008) with Cleveland winning all three series.

The teams met in the pre-season with the Wizards coming out on top.

The Wizards are coached by first-year head coach Flip Saunders. Previously, Saunders has coached in Minnesota and Detroit.

After losing the first two games of the 2009-2010 NBA Season, the Cavs are on a bit of a roll. The Wine and Gold defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves this past Friday night and the Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday.

The Cavs are currently in a first place tie in the Central Division with a record of 2-2. Milwaukee is also at the .500 mark with a record of 1-1.

You'll be able to hear tonight's game between the Cavs and the Wizards beginning at 7 o'clock on 1590 WAKR.
