The driver of a 2003 Chevy Cavalier was pronounced dead at the scene of a two-car crash Friday night.

The Canton Repository reports Jesse E. Mitchell, 19, of Alliance, was killed in the accident on Knox School and Hartley roads in Columbiana County's Knox Township.

The Ohio Highway Patrol's Libson post tells the newspaper that Mitchell was pronounced dead at 9 p.m.

The driver of the second vehicle involved and his passenger were both treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
