MANTUA, Ohio – Two of the area’s top pitchers locked horns Tuesday, and the Crestwood Red Devils topped the Springfield Spartans 3-2 in eight innings of baseball action. David Brock pitched the complete game victory for Crestwood, striking out 13 and walking only two. On the other side was Springfield’s Seth Robinson, who pitched seven innings with eight hits and 10 strikeouts. Mitch Stubbs pitched the eighth for Springfield and got the loss.
