Many softball fans gush about the strength of the Northeast Ohio Conference, but this season the Suburban League takes a backseat to nobody as teams reach the halfway point of the schedule. While Copley (7-0, 6-0) continues to be the class of the league, a title isn’t assured. In fact, not in the least bit as squads like Cloverleaf (14-3, 2-3), Highland (6-3, 2-2) and Nordonia (7-5, 5-2) are having strong seasons as well. Don’t be fooled by some of the records as the latter three teams have spent time beating up on each other. Copyright 2012 SportsInk.
