The student in western Michigan is debating her university's policy for having the pet in her dorm room.
She claims the fuzzy friend offers her emotional support and has since been allowed to keep the animal.
Her complaint is still pending with the Michigan Civil Rights Department.
- A caped crusader who dresses as Batman in Maine's Bar Harbor says he's learned his lesson after an April Fool's prank led to his arrest on a terrorizing charge.
Christopher Schwartz, known as ``Bar Harbor Batman,'' posted on his Facebook page on April 1 that he would blow up a hospital unless he was paid $1 million. And that post lead to his arrest.
He has apologized on his Facebook page for ``any panic or mass hysteria'' that he caused-- saying he was only kidding.
But he faces charges that are no joke.
