Japan Investigates Radiation Cover-Up ClaimSTR/AFP/Getty Images(LONDON) -- The Japanese government reports they will investigate findings that workers from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant were told to hide their exposure to radiation with lead shields, according to the BBC.
The March 2011 earthquake and tsunami knocked out the reactors in the Fukishima plant and tens of thousands of residents of the area were evacuated.
Research is being done to determine if the workers are adequately protected from the radiation site.
