Strong games are a dime a dozen in Northeast Ohio Conference softball, but Monday’s tilt between Elyria and Medina might be the Bees’ knees – pun intended – in terms of suspense. The Pioneers (12-1, 4-0) have won every NOC Valley Division title since the league came into existence in the fall of 2007. Medina (13-0, 4-0) has a tradition of success that dates back to the late 90s and early 2000s. Add the fact that the game at the halfway point of the league race is for the outright lead in the division and this one gets magnified even more. Copyright 2012 SportsInk. All rights reserved.
