Nordonia’s Rob Eckenrode will get his just recognition when the Northeast Ohio Interscholastic Athletic Administrator Association names him its Athletic Director of the Year on Monday. The six-year AD at Nordonia will receive the award at a luncheon at the Sheraton Suites in Cuyahoga Falls, and it’s an award that’s certainly overdue according to many. “To be nominated by your colleagues and selected by the NEOIAAA awards committee, means a heck of a lot,” Eckenrode said. “There aren’t a lot of people that know how much work goes into an AD’s job.
