AKRON, Ohio – The Highland Hornets baseball team proved it can score runs Saturday in a doubleheader sweep over host Firestone and Youngstown Cardinal Mooney. In the first game, Highland (6-2) hammered 10 hits to defeat Firestone 13-0. Junior Kenny Sanford pitched the complete game for the shutout victory.
