COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Police say two people were killed in a traffic accident involving at least two cars on Columbus' South Side.

A police dispatcher said the crash occurred about 8:50 p.m. Friday on Frank Road east of Interstate 71. The Columbus Dispatch reported that a truck also was involved. The newspaper said one person was taken to a hospital.

The road east of the interstate was closed after the accident.

The dispatcher had no other details.
