CINCINNATI (AP) -- Johnny Cueto left Cincinnati's game against the Chicago Cubs with two outs in the fourth inning with an apparent injury.

The nature of Cueto's problem wasn't immediately known. He was visited by a trainer and pitching coach Bryan Price with one out in the fourth. After getting Alfonso Soriano to pop out for the second out a trainer and manager Dusty Baker went to the mound and Baker decided to take the right-hander out of the game. Right-hander Sam LeCure relieved Cueto.

Cueto (9-5) went into the game with a 2.36 ERA, .0044 behind NL leader Clayton Kershaw of Los Angeles. Cueto missed almost the first six weeks of the season with irritation in his right upper arm.
