MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (AP) -- Veteran country and bluegrass music star Ricky Skaggs will headline a concert in Ohio this fall to benefit an emergency shelter for men and women.

The Middletown Journal (http://bit.ly/LfqUMo ) reports the Oct. 4 show will be at Princeton Pike Church of God in West Chester Township in southwest Ohio. Tickets start at $40.

The concert will benefit Middletown's Hope House, a nonprofit organization that relies on donations. Services include behavioral, educational and spiritual programs.

The 57-year-old Skaggs, a native of Cordell, Ky., has won 14 Grammy awards. He will be inducted with Aretha Franklin and others Aug. 14 into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in Nashville.
