COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- The Ohio attorney general's office will hold regional forums around the state this summer to discuss how Ohioans can work together to fight fraud.

State Attorney General Mike DeWine announced the forums last week as the state's new cyber fraud law went into effect.

The new law gives the Ohio attorney general's office the same subpoena power local prosecutors have in suspected cases of identity theft, website scams and other online fraud. But any criminal charges would still have to be brought by local prosecutors.

Forums are planned for Dayton, Cincinnati, Toledo and Columbus over the next four months.

Each forum will include a moderated panel discussion and special workshops for law enforcement, small businesses, and social workers or other caretakers.
