CINCINNATI (AP) -- Large crowds of people are turning out to honor a 25-year-old Marine from southwest Ohio who was killed this month in Afghanistan.

A packed church was expected Tuesday for funeral services for Sgt. John P. Huling at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in the northern Cincinnati suburb of Sharonville. The Pentagon says the West Chester man was killed May 6 by a person wearing an Afghan National Army uniform.

Hundreds of people attended visitation Monday evening at Huling's alma mater, Moeller High School. Dozens had lined a procession route in the rain Sunday when his body arrived in Butler County.

His burial will be later this week at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
