WAPAKONETA, Ohio (AP) -- A railroad worker has died in western Ohio after being crushed by a train engine and a rail car.

A deputy with the Auglaize (AW-glayz) County Sheriff's says the victim is a CSX employee who had been aboard the train early Thursday and then hopped off to work on something.

The Lima News ( http://bit.ly/q5lct1 ) reports the accident happened south of Wapakoneta (wah-puh-kuh-NEHT'-uh) near the Auglaize-Shelby county line.
