COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- State investigators say an Ohio parks employee used his position to get free lodging in park lodges.

Ohio's Inspector General says the parks worker stayed for free at park lodges and cabins eight times since 2008.

The state watchdog's report released Thursday says the state employee and family members got a free 14-day stay at a cabin last November at Hueston (HYOO"-stuhn) Woods State Park in southwest Ohio.

The report says the employee also stayed for free at two other state parks in southern Ohio.

Prosecutors are now looking into the findings, but no charges have been filed so far.

The state report says their investigation started when the park officer accused of taking the free rooms made a noise complaint about people in a nearby cabin.
