DAYTON, Ohio (AP) -- Lightning strikes this week have caused disruptions at two Ohio churches, forcing one to cancel Easter service for safety reasons while the other made quick repairs to go ahead with weekend Masses as planned.

A lightning strike near Toledo on Tuesday sparked a fire at the top of a 170-foot steeple. Construction and cleanup crews at St. Rose Catholic Church in Perrysburg raced to make sure the church was usable for Easter services. The pastor said he didn't think people would notice any differences this weekend.
