ABC News(WASHINGTON) -- Karl Rove, the former top political advisor to George W. Bush, says that Palin has "thin skin" after taking him to task for predicting she would soon announce her intention to run for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination.
What makes this growing feud particularly interesting is that it's taking place on Fox News where both Rove and the former Alaska governor are paid contributors.
Rove took aim at Palin on Greta Van Susteren's On the Record program following a posting on Palin's SarahPAC blog that put down "any professional pundit" with "wrong" and "misleading" information about her future plans.
Dismissing Van Susteren's contention that Palin might not have been aware of the posting, Rove mused, "It's a sign of enormous thin skin that if we speculate about her she gets upset. And I suspect if we didn't speculate about her she'd be upset."
He went on to say that if Palin decides to jump into the race, she would have to sever ties with Fox News and face scrutiny from less friendly media, adding, "I mean, that's not going to be a pretty sight."
