Jupiterimages/Thinkstock(HOUSTON) -- Three Houston cops are in big trouble for allegedly eating from a tray of marijuana-laced brownies they confiscated from a 19-year-old in a drug possession case.
According to ABC News affiliate KTRK-TV in Houston, the suspect accused the cops of scarfing some of his stash, but the officers confirmed the allegations themselves by texting each other on their patrol car computers -- the transcripts of which are automatically logged as evidence.
"So HIGH...Good Munchies," one allegedly typed to the other.
Another entry reportedly read, "so h i g h."
The incident reportedly happened four months ago, but is just coming to light now, according to lawyers for Nicholas Hill, the man who was busted by the cops.
Internal Affairs is investigating the cops. Lawyers for Hill are accusing the officers of misconduct and destruction of evidence.
