Seven School Buses Heading to Six Flags Involved in CrashiStockphoto/Thinkstock(NEWTON COUNTY, Ga.) -- Seven school buses that were headed to Six Flags were involved in a crash Newton County, Georgia, ABC affiliate WSB-TV reports.
The accident occurred on westbound I-20 at mile post 97. There are around 30 or so injuries, according to Georgia DOT spokesman David Spear. Over 200 students from Burke County Middle School in Waynesboro were aboard the buses. Most of the children were uninjured.
Nine children were transported to local hospitals.
