4/19/13 Update: 5:18 p.m

The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the four victims in the shooting that took place at Kimlyn Circle Thursday.

They were identified as 24-year old Ronald Roberts of Kimlyn Circle, 23-year old Kem Delaney of Merton Avenue in Akron,  19-year old Maria Nash whose address is unknown, and 19-year old Kiana Welch, also with an unknown address at this time.

Autopsy results showed that each one died from gunshot wounds to the head.  The deaths have been ruled as homicides.

No suspect has been found and the case is still under investigation.

4/18/13 Update: 8:30pm

Akron Police are currently on the scene after the bodies of four people were found in the basement of a home.

Lieutenant Rick Edwards with APD says it happened on Kimlyn Circle just off Independence Avenue in Akron.

"We got the call around 2:39 (Thursday) afternoon from someone that said there were some bodies in a basement on Kimlyn Circle", says Edwards.

Akron police report that the victims are two men and two women in their 20s.

At the scene on Thursday night, Edwards said police had not yet "identified the victims at this point." He said police "don't have a motive. We have dedicated quite a few resources up here between detectives and officers and our crime scene unit."

The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office also responded.

Meanwhile, families of the four people found dead are still searching for answers as to who did this and why.

April Roberts-Gilbert is the mother of one of the victims.

"My son would have gave the shirt off his back, and whoever did this needs to be found and be held responsible, because it's not right," Roberts-Gilbert told reporters at the scene. "They're out here killing each other and for what?"

She said her son had many talents.

"My son was the life of the party," Roberts-Gilbert said. "My son was very talented. He could draw, he rapped."

The grieving mother now has to do something she never thought she'd be doing...burying her son.

"Now I have a 24 year old son that I have to put away and for what," she said. "Can you please just tell me why?"

One man who identified himself as the father of one of the victims had this plea for whomever shot his son:

"Whoever did it turn yourself in," Donald Durham said. 'At least let us have a case that's closed."

Donald Roberts told reporters at the scene that his brother, who he says was slain in the execution-style shooting, was a "good kid."

"He didn't deserve to be killed like that," Roberts said.

Police do not have a suspect in the case, which is still under investigation.
