A 65-year old Akron man will likely spend the rest of his life in prison for raping young boys.

Roger Ball was handed a sentence of 35 years to life on counts of rape, sexual battery and other charges by Summit County Common Pleas Court Judge Tammy O'Brien this morning.

The charges stem from sexual activity over a four year period between Ball and five different boys who were his foster children.

Ball is also now categorized as a Tier 3 sex offender, so if he ever gets out of prison, he'll have to stay in touch with law enforcement every 90 days the rest of his life.
