Mr. Moore will personally visit community businesses and organizations in order to increase support for the United Way campaign. Regarding his service as campaign chair, he said: "The United Way campaign is at the heart of this community's effort to improve lives and advance the common good. It is my privilege to lend my time and effort to United Way alongside the countless volunteers and generous donors that are making a difference through United Way agencies. We live in a terrific caring community and supporting United Way to keep it that way!"
Mr. Moore has been selected seven times for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® for Banking Law & Real Estate Law (2005-2011), and has been named an "Ohio Super Lawyer" annually for the past eight years by Ohio Super Lawyers magazine (2004-2011). In addition to volunteering with the United Way of Summit County, Mr. Moore has helped with many other community organizations, including the American Red Cross of Summit & Portage Counties (Past Chairman of the Board); Northern Ohio Golf Charities (2001 Tournament Chairman and a Past President of the Executive Committee); Blue Coats of Summit County (Secretary); Akron Civic Theatre Board of Trustees; Portage Country Club Board of Trustees (Vice Chairman); Downtown Akron Special Improvement District, Inc. (Past Chairman); Greenleaf Family Center (Past Chairman); Downtown Akron Partnership Executive Committee (Past Chairman); and Akron Jaycees (Past President).
Mr. Moore is also a cantor and choir member at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. He lives in Copley with his wife Diana and two children, Ben and Leah.
