An Akron woman is now facing robbery charges in connection with an incident that occurred last month.

28-year-old Tyieshia Shellman is accused of helping her brother Tony Shellman and Steven Young  rob a woman and her children at gunpoint at a home on Lake Street April 9.

She was charged with Complicity to Commit Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Burglary and Safecracking.

Akron Police officials confirm both Tony Shellman and Young were charged with Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Burglary and Safecracking as well.
