Someone needs to go back to driving school. A teenage girl was apparently at the wheel of this SUV, accompanied by two of her friends, when she crashed it into the garage of a suburban home — then crashed it again fewer than 30 seconds later. The young driver reportedly blamed the accident on "unintended acceleration" caused by a malfunction in the electronic throttle control, a glitch known to affect Toyota vehicles.
However, in this instance Toyota insists there's "no evidence" of any defect — and commenters on Reddit speculated that a young driver panicking and confusing the brake and gas pedals might be a more likely culprit.
