A woman involved in a traffic accident early this year that killed a Uniontown Police Capt. Dan Stiles has been found guilty on the charge of vehicular manslaughter.
Sandra Boyes, 40, pleaded no contest Canton Municipal Court Tuesday and will not spend any jail time after entering the plea deal.
The judge sentenced Boyes to 90 days in jail and suspended all but 45 days of the jail term. Boyes will spend the 45 days under electronically monitored house arrest starting on September 1, 2011.
Judge Stephen Belden also suspended her driver's license for two year granting her limited driving privileges. Boyes will also preform 200 hours of community service.
Captain Dan Stiles was struck while directing traffic at the intersection of Route 619 and Kaufman Avenue on February 15.
