The body of the Plain Township swimmer who drowned late Thursday night was recovered Friday.
Plain Township Fire Chief Donald Snyder tells AkronNewsNow.com that the body of the 19-year old man was found in the man-made lake just off Middlebranch Road in Plain Township around noon Friday.
Snyder says teen's body was taken to the Stark County Coroner's office for an autopsy.
Multiple emergency crews were called to the lake around 7:45 Thursday night when one of the swimmers lost track of the other.

A search is underway for the body of a young man who allegedly drowned Thursday in Stark County.
Stark County Coroner Investigator Rick Walters says authorities are searching for the man at a lake in Plain Township near Harmont Avenue and Middlebranch Rd.
Walters says so far, no one has been found.

A Wayne County Sheriff's deputy wearing a body camera captured a meth lab bust in Plain Township.
Authorities found the meth lab while assisting the MEDWAY drug enforcement unit with a search warrant earlier this week.
Deputies recovered a large amount of chemicals and items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
Ronald C. Britton was arrested and charged with illegal manufacturing of drugs. Authorities may charge several other people who were inside the home.
Over the past two months, MEDWAY has busted eight meth labs in Wayne County.

The State Highway Patrol investigating an early Saturday morning one vehicle crash that sent five teenagers to the hospital. Police say the crash occurred on Pittsburg Avenue, south of Applegrove Street in Plain Township.
Authorities say a car driven by 18-year old Kyle Byelene of Canton was northbound on Pittsburgh when he passed a vehicle on the right of a two-lane road. The car continued off the right side of the road, striking a mailbox and eventually struck a utility pole.
Byelene was taken to Aultman Hospital with serious injuries. His front seat passenger, 18-year old Seth Noble of North Canton was taken to Mercy Hospital with serious injuries.
Back seat passengers, 16-year old Brandon Miller of North Canton and 15-year old Tyler Maloy of Uniontown were taken to Aultman Hospital with minor injuries. Another back seat passenger, 15-year old Kristi Morris of North Canton, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Aultman Hospital.
The State Patrol says alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.
