Akron police have a arrested a 17-year-old Akron teenager in connection with last week's ATM robbery on Kenmore Boulevard.
Authorities received several tips after posting a surveillance video on social media sites.
Officer found a loaded .25 caliber handgun when they arrested the teenager Monday afternoon.
On May 15th, a woman reported she was robbed at gunpoint by several men at a First Merit Bank ATM machine in the 1000 block of Kenmore Blvd. The suspects took the victim’s car keys, cigarettes and $20.
The teen has been charged with aggravated robbery, carrying a concealed weapon and weapons under disability.
He was taken to the Summit County Juvenile Detention Center.

A banking institution headquartered in Akron is eliminating positions across all of its branches.
"We are realigning our staff and as a part of those changes, we have eliminated the assistant branch manager position at our branches," Robert Townsend, media relations officer for First Merit.
When contacted by AkronNewsNow, Townsend was evasive about the details, but did say the decision was made Thursday.
First Merit operates close to 50 locations across the Greater Akron region.

Another bank heist in Akron, this time thieves hitting the First Merit in the 800 block of West Market.
It happened just after 9:30 as a pair entered the bank and passed a note demanding money; Akron police say the two then fled on foot.

(Akron PD) Shortly after 9:30 this morning, the First Merit Bank, located at 855 West Market Street, was robbed. Employees reported the suspects entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. The teller placed money in a red envelope and the suspects fled with an unreported amount of cash. The suspects were last seen running eastbound from the bank.
The suspects are two black males in their thirties. The first suspect is 5’08”, wearing a black hat, gray plaid jacket and dark blue jeans. The second suspect was wearing a gray hat, black puffy coat and blue jeans.
