No retrial for 21-year old Tiffany Calise -- the Green babysitter death case -- at least as far as Summit County Common Pleas Court is concerned.

Her request for an appeal on her shaken baby murder conviction has been denied at the local court, with Judge Alison McCarty putting out a nine page ruling.

McCarty's ruling said the "forcefulness and consistency of the State's medical testimony" meant Calise's conviction will stand.

Next stop for this case is the Ninth Ohio Circuit Court of Appeals.

Calise was convicted in the August 2010 bathtub death of toddler Aaliyah Ali.

Calise is serving a term of life in prison, with no chance of parole for at least 15 years, after her conviction last June.
