The high-profile trial of an Akron man accused of multiple murders gets underway Monday.
We should hear opening arguments in the case of 52 year-old Richard Beasley...accused of murdering three men and trying to kill a fourth, lured to Southeast Ohio on false promises of working on the land.
Last week, the court of Judge Lynne Callahan had to use the Akron Civic Theatre for jury selection...due to the large potential jury pool.
There are 27 counts against Beasley - he's pleaded not guilty, and could get the death penalty if convicted.
Stow teen Brogan Rafferty could testify against the man prosecutors called his mentor. Rafferty was found guilty last fall, and sentenced to life in prison.
The lone survivor of the ordeal is also expected to testify against Beasley.
