It's a big day in the world of the Girl Scouts, as 28 trucks filled with Girl Scout Cookies start fanning out all over Northeast Ohio today.

Girl Scout cookie sales booths will be up all over the region starting on March 1st.

But one group is asking you to go without.

Trefoil Integrity says "skip the cookies". They're upset about the sale and closure of a number of Northeast Ohio girl scout camps...and how the local Girl Scout Council has handled the situation.

The group's Lynn Richardson suggests giving a dollar directly to girl scouts.

The Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio say that'd hurt a number of things funded by the sales, including community service projects, and travel and events for girls.

The local council says Trefoil Integrity is "a very small group" and that girl scouts have to shell out money for enough cookies based on estimated sales.
