Child Found Inside Hotel Meth Lab

Springfield Township police busted a meth lab inside a hotel room with a 4-year-old girl inside.

Police say they got a tip from the Akron Police Department that there was a possible meth lab at the Red Roof Inn on South Arlington Road on Thursday.

Officers arrested five suspects at the scene after they located and identified the active meth lab inside the hotel room. Police say the 4-year-old girl belonged to one of the suspects. The child was taken to Akron Children’s Hospital for evaluation and is now in the custody of the Summit County Children’s Services Board.

Yvette Ray, 39, of Akron, Justin Delaney, 32, of Akron, Jeffrey Guilliams, 40, of Akron, Stacy Hervet, 39, of Barberton, and Edward Hervet, 39, of Akron were arrested and are facing a list of charges.

All subjects are currently being held at the Summit County Jail. Other charges are pending in the case.
