UPDATE Two Dead in Akron House Fire Featured

A house fire in north Akron early Thursday morning has turned deadly.

The fire was reported just after 2:30 a.m. on Oxford Avenue near York Street.

Two women in the house did not survive.

The victims have been identified as 52-year old Elaine Csora, and 28-year old Jennifer Barlow of the Oxford Avenue address.                

Fire crews are investigating how the blaze started at the two-story home.

Dispatchers say arson has not yet been ruled out. Damage was estimated at around $100,000. The identities of the victims have not been released.
