People in Cuyahoga Falls have weighed in about the city school district's Strategic Plan, "PT21".
An online survey on the district's website garnered over 170 responses to the school system's beliefs, mission and vision statements.
Cuyahoga Falls school superintendent Edwin Holland tells AkronNewsNow that those responses were very positive...with the overwhelming majority agreeing or strongly agreeing with the statements.
Superintendent Holland says there'll be sit-down meetings in the Fall with community members, to further help develop strategies to meet educational goals.
"And to begin working on goals, individual goals in each one of the improvement areas," Holland says, "and then to develop strategies that will help guide our academic and operational goals over the next three years."
Some of the questions from those who returned the survey included asking for more information on what the district's challenges are, and defining what the definition of "excellence" is in the district.
Holland's leaving his post as superintendent, which will be taken over by new superintendent Todd Nichols in August.
